Emergency Food Program

In response to the financial burden COVID-19 is having on the North Simcoe community, Chigamik is launching Phase Two of our Emergency Food Program beginning on June 1, 2020. Through this program, eligible participants will have access to a bag of produce once per week for eight consecutive weeks or a one-time emergency food card. *Quantities are limited and based on a first come first served model.
Important: If you participated in Phase One of the program and received a weekly food bag, you are not eligible to participate in Phase Two of the program. This is to ensure we have enough produce to support as many people as possible in our community.
To be eligible for this program, you must identify as having emergency food related challenges and you must reside in Chigamik’s primary catchment area which includes: Midland, Township of Tiny, Tay Township, Penetanguishene and Christian Island. 
How to Access:
Please complete the online form below. Upon completing form, you will receive a phone call within three business days with instructions on how to access the program. *Please note, you must have a valid phone number or email address to access the program.
