Chigamik’s Opioid Treatment Service offers non-judgemental counselling support for anyone who is concerned about their addiction and use of opioids (Heroin, Percocet, Oxycodone, etc.) or any other form of illicit drug and alcohol. This includes those who are prescribed any form of Opioid Replacement Therapy. Pregnant women using substances and individuals using substances who have children under the age of six are also welcome to access this service.
What this service offers:
- Individual or group counselling
- Methadone maintenance treatment support
- Health, safety and risk-reduction teachings
- Free harm reduction supplies
- Confidential hepatitis and HIV screening
- Referrals to other community support services
This service also provides treatment support for any form of addiction including but not exclusive to gambling, sex, food, gaming, etc. All services are free and confidential and can be accessed by anyone. You do not need to be a client of Chigamik to access this service.
