Join Our Community Health Hub Open House on November 17th!

Please join us on November 17th for the Community Health Hub Open House. Small group tours and refreshments will be provided. Masks are required indoors.

Located at 287 Bayshore Dr. in Midland, the Community Health Hub is a collaborative project that houses Centre de santé communautaire Chigamik Community Health Centre and Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care’s outpatient and community programs in one central location.

The Community Health Hub opened its doors in June 2020 but due to the pandemic we were unable to welcome our community at an Open House. We are so excited to invite everyone to join us on November 17th to celebrate this incredible partnership and experience all that the Community Health Hub has to offer.

Land Acknowledgement

CSC CHIGAMIK CHC would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Anishinaabek Nation. We would also like to acknowledge the enduring presence of the Indigenous Peoples of this region, specifically, the Chippewa Tri – Council First Nations comprised of the Beausoleil First Nation, the Chippewas of Rama, and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. We also acknowledge the Moose Deer Point First Nation, the Wahta Mohawks, the Georgian Bay and Moon River Métis Councils in this region. It should be noted that the Wendat and the Haudenosaunee Nations have also walked on this territory over time.
